Dots Bay House presents our first ever Avurudu Weekender.
PLANET DOTS brings together two days of programming built around two stages, combining standout international artists with a seriously stacked lineup of Sri Lanka’s finest selectors. From established names to the next wave of local talent, this is a full-spectrum showcase of the energy shaping dance floors right now.
On Saturday, Hyenah, founder of RISE MUSIC, brings his distinct sound merging Afro electronic traditions with a forward-looking approach to club music. Drawing on diverse cultural influences, his sets are immersive and expressive, built around rhythm, storytelling and connection, continuing to push boundaries both musically and through audiovisual exploration.
On Sunday, French DJ and producer Traumer, head of get—traum, takes over. One of France’s most respected exports, Traumer has spent over a decade carving out a distinctive space in electronic music through a constant stream of acclaimed releases and an evolving catalogue of aliases. His sets, known for their depth, unreleased material and precision, have made him a fixture in some of the world’s most respected venues.
Supported by a deep and carefully curated selection of Sri Lankan artists across both days, the Avurudu Weekender is a celebration of local and international sounds coming together in one place.
